If you have licensed the AL-Desk Credit Card Server for the AL-Desk Web Portal, you will need to use the Credit Card Processing tab to configure the Web Portal to be able to connect to the Credit Card Server. With Credit Card processing enabled, the AL-Desk Web Portal also runs an SSL Server with a default port of 443 in order to support secure information exchange required for credit card authorization. SSL provides a secure layer used for internet ecommerce.
To access the SSL channel from a browser you would use the https rather than http.
