A pricing entry is necessary in order to be able to calculate resale rates.
AL-Desk allows for different pricing effective on specific dates. There is a Date of Booking date and a Date of Activity Date. Commission can be entered either as a Percentage (%) or an actual Amount. If a percentage is entered the actual Amount is calculated. If the Actual Amount is entered, the Percentage is calculated.
Note:Using AL-Desk pricing information cannot be changed. So if a price is put in incorrectly to change it, it is just set to in-active and a correct entry added. The AL-Desk Web Portal API follows this convention in not providing an als_update_pricing.cgi but only an als_insert_pricing.cgi method.
