Any external application that uses the Block API Calls should follow the same rules as when administering blocks from AL-Desk itself.

 

Block Table Maintenance form Click on ADD or Alt A
Product Name: Pick the Product for Block
Quantity: Enter the Quantity for Block (This is PER Day amount)
Start Date / End Day:  leave them blank if there is no End Date
If you enter a Start Date you MUST enter an End Date
Time: The Time for the Product, be aware of the AM / PM
If there are blocks for different times you will enter another block after the first one is completed
Order:   If you have more then one Block PER product allows you to set the order
Days of the Week: Checkmark the days of the week this block is for.
If the Quantity varies by the days of the week you will have to enter another block for each of the different quantities and the proper days select
Release Days: Days before the Product Time that the Block will be Released.
 
If it is the SAME Day as the Product use ZERO, (0)
Release Time: How many Hours before the Product Time to release
If the Product time is 5:00 PM at it is released 5 hours the Day of the Event:
Release Days = 0, Release Time = 12:00 PM
 
Auto Fax / Auto Email only work if you have the “Fax Module” purchased and installed
 

 

Note: If you are eliminating a block before inactivating it you must MOVE existing reservations to either a NEW block or Uncheck “On Block” in the voucher and get a Manual confirmation number
