Pricing Example

Normal pricing in AL-Desk, uses an Affiliate commission schedule. Commission is calculated based on the profit.

Affiliate Resale Pricing allows for an Affiliate Base Price (ABP) and an Affiliate Resale Price (ARP) to be defined as a default.

Current ABP is using the base method and the ARP uses the baseresale method.

Each Affiliate or Agency can have their own custom rates defined.

Affiliate Base prices are defined using the example vendor net rate of [$80.00] and allowing

  * a set fee to be added [$5.00] (Base+Fee) or [$80.00]+[$5.00]=$85.00

  * a markup fee based on a percentage [10.00] (percent of Base) $80.00 x 0.10=$8.00

Affiliate Base Price defined as $85.00+$8.00=$93.00

Affiliate Resale prices are defined based on the base price and allowing

  * a set fee to be added [$10.00] (Resale Base+Fee) or [$93.00]+[$10.00]=$103.00

  * a markup fee based on a percentage [15.00] (percent of Resale Base) $93.00 x 0.15=$13.95

Affiliate Resale Price defined as 103.00+$13.95=$116.95

There is also the ability to override this formula for any specific product rate.
